EAST LONDON WALKING TOUR

This is a new tour that we are offering to our visitors in East London. This is the easiest way to learn about the history of the city, to meet the locals and know about some of the important buildings in the city. Pick up for the tour is at East London Aquarium or East London Museum. You will meet with your Guides who will take you through our route. Duration 3 hours.

This is a new tour that we are offering to our visitors in East London. This is the easiest way to learn about the history of the city, to meet the locals and know about some of the important buildings in the city. Pick up for the tour is at East London Aquarium or East London Museum. You will meet with your Guides who will take you through our route. Duration 3 hours. You will walk through the City and visit historical sites of East London. The tour ends with catching a local Taxi where you will experience to be inside the local taxi with the locals.

Meet at East London Aquarium

Look for your Guide with a Welcome Board "EAST LONDON WALKING TOUR"

Meet with your Tourist Guide in-front of East London Aquarium on the Esplanade Road. Look for a Welcome Board with "EAST LONDON WALKING TOUR".

Tour will start at 10h00am with a first stop at Hero's Park and The German Settler Memorial. 

from Hero's Park we will walk through Quigney suburb and stop for a group photo at one of the murals in this suburb. Next stop will be The Lock Street Jail Complex which used to be the Women's Jail and now accommodate University Students.

From here we will stop at Fort Hare University (East London satellite) and continue to Oxford street, main street of East London. Here we will stop in-front of the famous City Hall. The walk will continue via North End till we get to East London Museum where we will catch a Local Taxi back to the Aquarium.
